Sara Roque

Sara's main interests are carnivore conservation and management, in particular the wolf. She started studying wolves in 1997, in the northwest of Portugal (Peneda-Gerês National Park); and since 2001, she has been focused on the ecology and conservation of the endangered south Douro river wolf population in Portugal. Currently, she is working in monitoring plans with the objective of assessing the impacts of wind farms on wolves. Sara can be reached at: saroque@fc.ul.pt
